i would keep either mx or (more likely) both. $100 or so super program is likely to fetch is comparable to sales tax on almost any dslr (here anyway).
i wouldn't look at camera automation as a reason to keep it, since any digital camera you get will have lots more anyway. otoh, my mx has some faulty circuitry in its meter, draining the batteries in a matter of weeks (as oppose to months or years on my lx), but that doesn't make it any less useable camera, even without the meter. and it's such a beauty anyway... best, mishka
