I did take notice of your MEF acquisition. So, you've gotten some new AF technology at about the same that time that you also came up with some about-as-primitive-as-you-can-get AF technology - <g>. (I have a couple of seldom-used mint MEF's here (one chrome and one black), along with their weird AF 35-70/2.8 lenses, that are fun to play with once in a long while.) I suspect you'll use your new *ist DS a lot more than you'll use that "new" MEF - <g>. Fred
