I don't suppose you'll be getting involved in any of that. I've lived in London since 1981 and never heard or seen a gun, except at a shooting range and on the belts of the police who guard diplomats, politicos and royalty. On the other hand I have heard several IRA bombs explode. I've been carrying cameras all that time and never been mugged or had any problems (except burglary).
