well, i am guilty of contributing. with the acquisition of the 77, i have my 
set of silver Limiteds. i wish they were black, but i can live without. i'm 
not interested whatsoever in the 40 Limited though. i would much rather have 
had a Limited 24 to replace the FA* 24/2. i wish the DA 14 was a little 
sharper.

The D and DS have created a run on Pentax primes. Suddenly everyone wants 
them. Check dpreview to see the endless questions. These cameras have 
created a resurgence of interest in image quality. The FA 77 has been 
particularly in demand, as have the 50, 35, 28, and 24. I'm sure everyone 
has noticed that Pentax autofocus primes have virtually disappeared from 
KEH. Pentax has to be making money for a change.
