Interesting how others analyze the differences. I have a
question though.

On the DS, in manual exposure you toggle between setting
aperture and shutter speed by pressing the EV Comp button while
you roll the wheel. Personally, I like that more. I think this
is purely personal preference. Both work well.

Yeah, an analog readout would be nice. However, if you press the
AE-Lock button in Manual exposure, the shutter speed jumps to
the suggested setting and you can roll the shutter speed or
aperture and see the EV +/- readout easily. I don't find it much
of a hindrance.

Isn't what the DS does with the AE-L lock button on Manual
(above) the same thing? or is there some other behavior to
HyperManual?
