I think I'll take a stab at this one.
You should bring a good tripod if you want to take photos (Some people last year might not have actually taken ANY of the photos the went home with ;))


Don't bring extra cash or you'll end up spending it all on camera stuff. Unless you want to, of course.

Bring rain gear and a dry pair of sox (right Mark?)

Don't forget your beer goggles.

sleep before you get there.

Viewfinders aren't necessary

Don't be shocked to find that your CF card is full even if you don't remember shooting with your camera.

Don't wear anything that might look attractive to a bear.

Don't feel bad, some of these people have MUCH nicer stuff than you do...but they'll let you fondle it!

Oh, the seminars were nice.
