I don't really understand the logic of this. If I haven't used a film camera in over two years, and all my image capture and development processing has moved to a digital workflow, what good will having a film camera "in reserve" be? To me, if I want a reserve camera that uses the same bits as I use every day in the event of a problem, I should buy a second *istDS. I had occasion to work a client's film for the first time in a year the other day. What I used to do for 8 years... scan it on the film scanner, correct and clean up, make some nice prints. It was an eye opener: took me hours to do three prints compared to the minutes it takes to do this with a digital image. The MZ-S seems very nice, but keeping it "in reserve" is, to me, a waste of resources. If you kept it, you should use it. And I don't see myself using film again any time soon.
