Here's the original announcement as it appeared on DP Review: http://www.dpreview.com/news/0009/00091402pentaxdigitalslr.asp Current specs on the CCD from DALSA (they bought Philips' CCD division after the Pentax announcement): http://www.dalsa.com/pi/products/productdetails.asp?ProductID=FTF3020M I think I still have the original Philips data sheets around here somewhere. At the time of the announcements I was working as a Components Engineer at Harris RF Communications and one of my responsibilities was optical sensors and CCDs for the company. I spoke to the Philips rep about this product and got plenty of information about it. Volume price (1000 pieces or more) was around $1000.00 - another reason for the cancellation of the "MZ-D". -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
