Most of January has been pretty intense for me, too much travel, a beastly head cold, too much bad weather...

Along the way I read "Long Way Round" by Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman. It is more superficial than Che's Motorcycle Diaries and not that thrilling an adventure story, but still a good read about these two's travel from London to New York on BMW cycles, traveling via Western and Eastern Europe, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Russia, Mongolia,...

Two Pentax items of note. 1. They pass through Ulaanbaatar, fabled site of the first release of the MZ-D. 2. On the last line of the last page it says: "Photographs in the picture sections were taken with Pentax cameras."
