There have been people on this list who've had problems with their
*istD. As far as I recall, the turn around for repairs/replacement
has been a couple of weeks (someone with actual experience, feel free
to correct me if I'm wrong). That's not bad, really. Is Nikon
supporting the D70 any better?
I know a couple of pros using D70s.
One of them was in the middle of a large project when his camera quit firing his flash (Nikon is using a hot shoe adaptor, which was the problem).
The repair was replacing the shoe adaptor, but after 3 of them crapped out, the body circuit crapped out as well.
It's been in the shop for a couple of months now.
The other one's camera seems to be working fine.
