Over the last several months I've run into several wedding type
photographers (three actually) who are now pretty much over their foray into
digital. Two were turning in film for processing at the same place I use,
the other was buying back some of the equipment he'd sold to buy his digital
equipment. After the initial excitement had worn off, they found they were
no longer happy with the results. They know the future is probably digital,
they just don't think it's really arrived yet.

Second attempt. First time didn't come back so looked in the archive and
it is not there.
And I
don't see myself using film again any time soon.
Film can still be necessary at times. Artists submitting works to a
exhibition jury in many cases still require slides.
