For me, there aren't that many annoying flaws except...

* I'd like to see the ISO in the viewfinder, or at least on the LCD (especially when I've got the camera set with auto sensitivity correction on). ISO is at least as important as a control as shutter and aperture on a dig.

* The AE button location is a bit awkward. I much prefer the arrangement on the PZ-1: button at the back, twirl the front dial. Might just have to get a generic grip strap to make this more comfortable.

* It would be nice if the top LCD info stayed visible when the camera is ON (it turns off completely after a few min). LCDs don't consume that much current.

* No backlighting on the LCD. This would be useful when I'm taking long night shots, with the viewfinder cover on.

* I wish they'd stayed with the old PZ/MZ style cable release connection, or even put in a mechnical thread connection on the shutter release.

* Has anyone noticed NiMH take a while to recover to a useable voltage level after a long exposure? I'm using Sony 2300mAh AA's. After a 30" exposure, the LCDs flash, and the battery indicator shows empty. Turn the camera off for a minute or so, and it's fine again. Hmm. Might have to stay with the LX for night shots.
