Well, I could say I told you so. You probably ignored my post about the variability of JBM. Last time I checked the going price was more like $65 a pound, so Caribou must know what they are selling is worth (floor sweepings maybe). I understand the really good stuff (not readily available) goes for about $120/#.

I personally never did think JBM was "THAT" good. It seems more like, "If it costs that much it must be really good". To me expensive is-not-equal-to good.

Also even the good stuff is about the opposite end of the coffee spectrum from the expresso types, so you may not like it anyway. I myself prefer the Indonesian coffees (Sumatra, Java, etc).

mmmmm thats what I get. A full city Sumatra from a little place in Georgetown TX that has its own roaster. They roast it just right for my tastebuds.

Maybe I bought the wrong one? Wrong roast?

Bob Blakely, send me your address off-list and I'll make you a present. Back to Starbucks Espresso blend.

Linda says it tastes like peanut shells.
