Hill was a world champion Formula 1 driver "back in the day,"
much beloved in Britain and elsewhere. He also won the American
Indianapolis 500 in a car that had become the norm for Europe
but at the time was radically different in America. He retired
from a dangerous era of racing and then lost his life in a
plane crash. His son Damon also did quite well in F1.

Your policeman bears more than a passing resemblance to Hill.
All he needs is a few vertical white stripes on his helmet.

Best,
Stephen

Help me. Should I (as a swiss) know Graham Hill?
