AFAIK the colour space profile information is not embedded in the file
(almost no DSLR does that, apart from high end Nikons AFAIK), but just
a field in the EXIF is tagged with information about the colour
profile, most newer image browsers and editors could and should
recognize whether the photo was shot in AdobeRGB or sRGB. Last two
versions of ACDSee do that, last time I tried their trials. I asked
around, and Photoshop CS should recognize them as well, and assign
proper profile automagically. IrfanView, sadly, still doesn't offer
any kind of colour management.
