I hate to go OT but a guy was rescued off NZ's tallest mountain the other day. He slipped while climbing near the summit and fell about 5 metres. If his foot hadn't caught in some rocks on a small ledge he'd have fallen 1500m further.


He set off his emergency locator beacon and made a cup of tea. A rescue helicopter turned up the next morning.
