In the 4X range, I have one of these that I am very
happy with:

Great field of view, great eye relief, no distortion,
no color fringing, and great for the money. The Pentax
5.5X is very nice, but twice the cost.
In the 10X range, I have a Rodenstock that is merely
okay.
I tried out the Pentax zoom loupe, and wasn't happy
with the distortion.
