New as compared to what?
Did you take a hand loading reel, and try to thread or install 127 film in it, and it wouldn't work? Or how new is the equipment. What sort of equipment IS it?
I don't think developing reels for 127 film have been made for some time, but I could be wrong.
Are you doing it yourself or sending it to a lab/drugstore?
