Since I re-use the fixer, I don't want to add the hardener to it - and wind up with hardening fixer that I don;t want to use on APX after the CP is all gone.
Maybe make up a hardening bath, and harden the film after fixing. I would rinse the film a bit first to get out the bulk of the fixer, that way your hardener will stay usable longer.
