No, I don't use AF. Just manual, and try to focus on the viewfinder,
sometimes trusting the focus indication LEDs.

The FA35/2 was already one of my favorite lenses, even though 50mm is
my preferred FL. With the istD it becomes about a 52.5mm, so it became
my most used lens now.
