Thanks, Bruce. I always appreciate comments like yours, on a number of levels. First (as I've discussed in this thread earlier), it helps me to overcome my subjectivity, and become more objective about the shot, thus, hopefully, helping me to become a better photographer. Secondly (as I was discussing off-list with someone last week), I like to hear constructive criticism from people, because when those same people say positive things, they ring that much more true. I shot a number of available-light frames with much faster film, later that evening. That roll still hasn't been processed. Maybe there'll be some more ambience with those, who knows?
