It isn't "grain" pre se, it's the flecks of various rocks in the granite
of the building. I've been playing with various B&W conversions. Funny
thing is, with this shot they *all* seem to look good. Usually I have
trouble coming up with any B&W conversion that looks acceptable to me.

I used the "B&W on C Paper" conversion for the first shot.
