Hi all, if you really need to connect your camera directly with the iPod there are some devices that do the job. They are pocket-sized pieces of technology that do the same work of the pc: it allows a direct transfer from a digital camera into an USB memory-store device.
Unluckily I've no link to any url, since I've seen it in a paper-catalog... But IIRC it was quite cheap... Danilo.
