No idea. I can hazard a guess; in some situations going below (say) 1/30 may not fire the flash (ambient light enough). I am not near my cameras at the moment to check :-) Failing that, again, I am wondering if the above is a documented feature. I am also wondering if it could be a per-camera (rather than per-flash) feature. Kostas
