It provides an easy overview of the relationships of sensor type (CMOS and CCD),sensor size and picture noise and quality, as well as an explanation as to how and why all pixels aren't created equal.

Thanks for the link, Larry. That page, combined with its link to depth-of-field calculations, suggests that the circle of confusion for the DA lenses should be 0.0196, or 0.02 for practical purposes.

P.S. This comes from a sensor diagonal of 28.3 mm., divided by 1440.
