The image circle of the 8mm circular fisheye has a diameter of about 24mm which gives an "almost" full frame fisheye on an approximately 24mm x 16mm APS classic format. You can see the results in Muellers uncropped photo using the 8mm Peleng on a Nikon D2h

Compare this to the uncropped results from my Vemer 12mm f8

http://www.mindspring.com/~pjalling/PESO_--_cgbchg.html

The image circle of the 12mm fisheye easily covers the 28~29mm diagonal of the APS C size sensor on the *ist-D.

The Peleng does however seem to be the sharper lens.

From: Peter J. Alling Actually it's image circle is a tad smaller than that required to cover an APS sized sensor. The Vemer/Spiritone/Sigma
12mm is just about right. (Thought the Peleng is probably a sharper

lens).

You could always try the partial frame 8mm Peleng fisheye. Although it
doesn't cover the whole 24x36 frame, I've read that it does cover an
APS-sized sensor. It's available from some of the Zenitar sources.

I can understand why mankind hasn't given up war. During a war you get to drive tanks through the sides of buildings and shoot foreigners - two things that are usually frowned on during peacetime.
