With the wonky email these days, I wanted to put out another reminder. On March 5th we will be gathering in San Jose. Anyone is welcome to come - it looks like right now the count attending is around nine of us. I am coming from the Sacramento area, so if anyone is in that area, you are welcome also.
If you would like to join us, please let me know. Here is the basic plan: We will meet at 10:30 am at the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum <http://www.egyptianmuseum.org/visit/index.html> in San Jose. If some want to go through the museum they can or we can just shoot a bit on the grounds. Then we'll do lunch nearby and head over to the San Jose Historic Park and Japanese Gardens (about 2 miles away) <http://www.historysanjose.org/visiting_hsj/plan_your_visit.html>. They share a parking lot and we can shoot at either/both. I'm guessing it may be just about as well for people shooting as sights, so hopefully this can provide some enjoyment and variety for all. After we're done, those that want to have a dinner together may do so (I will want to eat before the long trek home) and the rest can go on their merry way. John Francis has graciously provided some pictures of these areas. http://jfwaf.com/Sampler/ Please let me know if you are interested in attending. -- Best regards, Bruce
