Hi Tanja, I thought you already bought that second body <vbg>. As I said in your earlier post, welcome back to the list. The *istDS is a good second body in a lot of ways. It has a bigger, faster buffer, a larger LCD screen, and it's slightly smaller. However, It won't accept a battery grip, and it doesn't have separate AV and TV controls, and it doesn't have Hyper Program mode. The deal breaker for me was no battery grip. I like having the vertical shooting mode and the bigger grip as well as the longer battery life. So I bought an *istD as a second body. YMMV. Paul
