Lots of context.

I had this printed up for today, because I thought the PUG theme for
March was B&W (as mentioned in another thread). I've now decided
that, while it's an okay shot, I'll wait until closer to March 20 to
decide what I'm going to submit. Since it's hanging around, I'll PESO
it.

Taken a couple of weeks ago along the Rideau Canal in Ottawa, Canada's
capital. The Rideau Canal is allegedly the world's longest skating
rink, and there are numerous rest stops along the 10km course,
including this little Art Display Area (you can see the "art" on the
walls in the background) with a fireplace perfect for toasting
marshmallows, as this family decided to do.

Another chance to play with the new fisheye (which I'm coming to enjoy
quite a bit, and finding that it may not be so gimmicky after all...):

Nothing overly serious, just a fun pic, but you may comment if so compelled.

thanks,
frank

I can understand why mankind hasn't given up war. During a war you get to drive tanks through the sides of buildings and shoot foreigners - two things that are usually frowned on during peacetime.
