Yes I'd have to agree there, it's the one thing that puts me off "upgrading" to a Pentax optic. > I don't remember its wide open > performance however. Generally very good but my two samples both suffer from light fall off in the corners, not quite as bad as the FA 28 f/2.8 but there all the same. I think the FA 28 is far better optically than it's reputation IMHO. John
