Well, it wasn't the White House until we burned it down, and what
hadn't been burned to the ground was repainted with whitewash to cover
the burn marks (true story).

So, we shouldn't really be "blamed" for anything.  Were it not for us,
you wouldn't have a Whitehouse today.
