Manual: "Copyright 2001". I imagine the designers felt it more logical if the AF button were to operate this combination. The referenced manual info is in the lower push- pin "MEMO" under the page 115 [F6} heading. It may be that you're looking for wording other than appears there. Sorry if I confuse.
