Yes! I discovered that. I took off a red filter, and decided to put nothing on, and noticed the lens wouldn't focus to infinity. I put a UV on the back, and it focused just fine, thanks. They should put something in the instructions about that. Or better yet, make English or French instructions that I could understand.
