Hi, Patrick,
I really do not care: I've got the lens really cheap to experiment freely
with it... And it has another problems also. Because of this I do not want
to spend money on professional service - I prefer to buy "ex" or "like new"
specimen next time (and maybe autofocus one ;-)... Definitely I tried to
minimize quantity of oil in order to exclude its infiltration onto glass
surfaces or aperture blades...
By the way, this zoom (SMC-A 70-210 F4) is really very nice piece of glass
(and metal! ;o) Only two main drawbacks that bother me are:
    1. Rotating front element - with long lenses it's nice to use polarizer!
    2. A little bit huge (booth in weight and dimensions) - not so well
balances with small M, A -series Pentax bodies (I have Super A(Program)).
Also it's my favorite focal length range and I use it as my standard lens
that, by default, always on body ;o)

Thanks, Vlad.
