It sounds like a good lens. New price is about the same as the
FA20/2.8, and about $70 more than the DA16-35/4. Were I buying
with the notion of using the lens for both film and digital SLR
bodies, it would be a good one to look at.
It would be interesting to see a performance comparison between
all three lenses at 20mm focal length setting.
Since I'm only looking at use on the DSLR bodies, the DA16-45 is
probably more appropriate, assuming that it performs as well as
the 20 prime and the 20-35 zoom.. That extra 4mm focal length
range on the wide end nets a lot of field of view.
