I rarely miss a message using my normal mail services. When I've tried other mailers with more spam control, I sometimes miss a lot of messages. I think certain words will trigger some overly sensitive filters -- for sale, bargain, etc.

Then you're the only one that I know of...

FWIW, Frank, I've been receiving every post as well. I'm using with a
server-for-hire that I control, and I've carefully set up its spam detection
software.

I would be nice to get a more coherent picture of the problems faced by some
folks on the list. I suspect that the problems can be traced back to sys
admins trying to stem the flood of spam they receive. At work, I'm faced
with spam eating up about 90% of my employer's SMTP traffic. That's a real
threat to people's productivity, so I'm trying to strike a balance between
blocking the spam but allowing the legit email to get delivered. Sometimes
the good stuff gets blocked. :(
