Hi,
I was thinking as I looked at the thumbnails that it must be nice to live near stuff that is that photogenic.
They are nice places, but the photographs are hackneyed.
Of course they are! Would you spend the time and money to go to a famous place, such as the Eiffel Tower or to Big Ben and NOT take a photograph? How can a photographer NOT take photos of them, just as everyone else has done?
I think it's a waste of film. I buy the postcards.
Hell! I could just call a friend and slip him 20 quid, have him pick up a handful of postcards at Heathrow or Gatwick, or wherever, and save myself a LOT of money.
As well as avoiding all that devestating fun and experiences...
No need to lug around all the expensive gear.
Might as well not have bought it in the first place!
Or did you mean it in a different way?
Nope.
Uh huh... Okay. Any particular reason you belong to an online camera list?
