Black ME Supers weren't particularly rare when they were made but ones in
good condition are kind of rare now because the black finish wasn't very
durable. 
That would be a good price if the camera is in good shape. If it's got any
significant paint wear on the trim or any brassing on the top or bottom
plates I'd pass on it.
