test the scanner with Kodachromes before you buy. many of the scanners with Digital ICE will work poorly with Kodachromes. my Coolscan 4000ED is one of the ones where i can't get any usable results.
Does that one have some form of Digital Ice? I found Kodachrome to be hard to scan.
