Nope, if they could get away with it they would sell tires in 4 packs to use on 3 wheel cars. That is how the battery folks seem to do it.

I guess the 357 are alkaline? LR-44 eqiuvalent? SR-44 is silver oxide
or something, and is recommended for exaclty that -higher curremt draw
appliances. I used them in the LX preferably.

I picked up a three pack at Target. The package reads: 357 SILVER OXIDE 1.55 V BATTERIES QTY. 3 REPLACES 303, A76, AG13, EPX76, LR1154, LR44, SR44SW/W.

I've read that the silver batteries provide more consistent performace
over the life of the battery, which is why I've used the SR44 in the
K1000. I really don't have the experience or know how to explain why
or if it's even accurate. The 357 is a silver battery but WR's LX
goes through them faster than the SR44. The higher voltage allows for
a faster drain, perhaps?

Anyway, I've got the batteries. The nifty thing about the three pack
is that I have one K1000 and an MX on the way, which use a grand total
of three batteries! I'll bet energizer never expected that to happen.
I still think tire manufacturers would sell their tires in threes if
they thought they could get away with it.
