On my *istD I use Hoodskins by Hoodman. They are self sticking covers that protect from scratching. I have heard that the Pro SLR Cap also by Hoodman is a good product (I haven't used it yet but intend to). It is a plastic cover that sticks to the body and protects against knocks to the screen as well. Both can be had at B&H and other online dealers.
