Not being one to chime in with "me too" posts often, Ctein say
that Impressa is the overall best colour negative film on the
market. His criteria is geared more towards impeccable colour
rendition and a natural looking tonal range than towards ultra
fine grain and high resolution numbers(not that the Impressa
falls down here either). Since he wrote that test, Kodak has
released the Portra line, and some of the new gen7 films are
out. One film that is consistently overlooked is Gold 200. It
really is a nice film.
