This is a copy of a Zeiss design, originally made on 39mm
(Leica) mount. I have the Leica mount version. It is not too bad, it
has nice bokeh (has I think 12 diaphragm blades, which helps), and it
is cheap (at least one guy regularly sells the M42 version on ebay
for $50)
As with all Russian lenses, build quality can be an issue. If you can,
try it before you buy it, and don't pay more than $50 for it.
I've been thinking about getting one to use with my MX, at leat until
I can find an M85...
