I took the hard drive out of the now defunct ImageTank G2 (appropriate name, 
it tanked after only four times) and went over to Fry's (computer/electronic 
outlet store). Bought a USB hard drive enclosure, popped the hard drive into it 
and attached it to my laptop. (The hard drives in these-yet-to-be-named 
devices are laptop drives.) I use the laptop for business, not photography, but 
it's there.

I got it to work! Now I can see my pictures! (I was a bit afraid the 
formatting would be so different that it might not work).

Sheesh, all this complaining to companies, aggravation, and trouble running 
around for a few not-very-good pictures.

Is photography obsessive or what?
