That's just about what first crossed my mind, too.

Admittedly I walked right past this, without even spotting it.
But if I *had* spotted it, I'd probably have tried for an angle
pretty much on the diagonal, to make the slopes symmetric
(and, with any luck, to get a little more of the water jets).
