Hi guys,

Here's a pic I got from my most recent roll of print film. I thought it might
make a nice "Friday" pic (it's Friday in my timezone, at least).

The cat actually belongs to a neighbour but she likes to visit on a regular basis
to explore the house and chase our piece of string, and enjoy lots of attention
(as cats do).

She's one of those black and white cats that's notoriously difficult to
photograph but I think the film (Agfa Portrait 160) has done really well,
although I did let the highlights burn up at the top. Plus, she actually stayed
still for once :)

In the background is my partner who was enjoying a Sunday morning sleep-
in with her book.

The pic was taken using a K2, and I'm pretty sure I used the 43mm Limited
for that shot. I scanned it off the neg (Agfa Portrait 160) using an Agfa Arcus
1200 scanner. I'm quite impressed with this scanner's driver, particularly the
handling of negative films (and the de-screening is wonderful if you want to
scan from a halftoned source).

BTW, that red thing in the upper-right corner is not dust on the neg (maybe I
should have rubber-stamped it out anyway)...

Cheers,

- Dave
