Seriously, it would be great to see both of you there. I will be glad to write a note to Veronica's boss explaining that she would cause an international incident if she did not take the day off to join this high-level multi-national meeting.

I told her about the possibility already; she - as usual - doesn't take decisions so much in advance but at least is not completely annoyed about the idea, which is good. :-) She'll have to take a day off from work, I guess.
I hope we can decide for sure in a couple of days, so I'm able to book ASAP (don't want to appear anxious about the flight fares, but in this period even a few euros can make the difference, and London is not a cheap place).
