I am a little slow at getting some shots together - I have been
swamped since getting home.

I had a wonderful time meeting new people and getting reacquainted
with those I already knew. During that time, I did manage to get a
few shots in along with trying out a lens that Godfrey graciously let
me test (A 70-210/4).

I received no black mail money so didn't feel like I needed to hold
back people images.

Some nice shots, Bruce. The ones I like or really like are the third and
fourth cactus, the close-up of the roof line, the close-up of the duck (at this
point I'd try to tone down the light on the rock and bring up a little more
detail in the shadows in Elements 3, hehehehe, if it was my shot and now that I
know how to do that a bit), and the close-up of John (Celio).

I guess I like close-ups. The one of John is very, very nice.

I see you shot some ducks after all. ;-) Well, I ended up doing it too, but
not as well. They just look like ducks in my shots -- as in, "Yup, it's a
duck." Your close-up of the duck has a nice (insert word I cannot spell that is
used in decorating and art and starts with a c -- often applied to appliqued
word
cutouts attached to furniture) effect, between the light and shadow and
reflection.

Marnie aka Doe Sheesh, I hate it when I know what word I want to use but
can't figure out how to spell it.
