Good question, Mike. I rarely print anything - not even from negs. I used to scan those. Only occationally I do prints for fun or for competitions at the local camera club - these are in 12x16" paspartout's, so I make A4 prints.
I edit the (chosen) digital images to pass them on to the "lay-out" people or directly to the the people/company, who print the publications etc., for which they were shot. Or I use them my self in Powerpoint prenstations or Word documents or whatever. For private purposes I make CD's/slideshows or put them on the internet. If I was photographing to get 4x6 prints for the family album, or for friends and family etc., I'd probably would have stayed with film. It's just so convenient to turn in the film and then pick up nice prints one hour later or perhaps the next day. But since I need digital images anyway - I decided I might as well forget about film :-). Occationally I expose 6x6 film, whenever I need high resolution or large prints. How many of those did you print? mike ----------------------------------------- Email sent from www.ntlworld.com virus-checked using McAfee(R) Software visit www.ntlworld.com/security for more information
