He has diabetes and is slowing down but still does the occasional round of appearances. Actually I was very jealous because years ago, one episode called for a local TV crew to be interviewing Morse or his sidekick or something, and our main presenter (Wesley Smith) and a colleague were drafted in to appear! Non-speaking and background action only, but sheesh was I envious!
